programs are not regulated by the Department of Motor Vehicles and/or the Court. The Court
recognizes these programs for use; however, the Court and the DMV assume no liability for
the schools actions.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING: If you choose to complete a Home Study course, we
recommend that you sign up for the school of your choice within (5) days following
authorization from the Court to attend. This time frame is necessary in order for you to
complete your course on or before your due date. In addition to English, these programs
offer Spanish courses.

California Vehicle Code Section 42005
prohibits drivers with a class A, class B or commercial class C driver license from
attending traffic violator school for the purposes of dismissing and suppressing traffic
violations from a driving record. This prohibition applies to any violation issued on
September 20, 2005, or later and committed with any class of motor vehicle.
The Tuolumne County Superior Court
requires that all students who select a home study course have their identity verified.
Please review the procedures and make sure you research and understand the total cost of
the course including additional fees (if any) for the verified testing procedure prior to
registering.
Important information
regarding your certificate of completion
Upon successful completion and payment for your course, all home study certificates of
completion are transmitted to the Court electronically through a secure data portal. Upon
registration, should you provide the home study program with an e-mail address or cell
phone number that accepts text messages, you will be updated once the Court receives and
processes your certificate of completion. In the event that you do not have access to
either, you can contact the home study provider to inquire as to the status of your
certificate. Please do not call the Court.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
TO ALL STUDENTS:
Only home study programs and listed URLs approved by this Court and appearing on
this list are approved for use. DO NOT search for or select a home study program utilizing
any search engine! Utilizing a search engine to select a home study program will result in
your certificate of completion not being accepted by this Court. There are NO exceptions.
